WHO WE ARE
Pivot has roots in consulting dating back 20 years, and its professionals draw on diverse structural engineering backgrounds—forensics, design, academia, and energy.
Some of us have worked in structural forensics our entire careers. Others cut their teeth performing new structural design on projects you’ve likely seen or even used—sports arenas, stadiums, medical centers, and hotels. We've all forged our reputations in the forensic world—investigating and repairing structures.
Diversity of experience and understanding the design process allows us to excel at diagnosing structural problems—we see the big picture and know that it’s comprised of the finer details.
Pivot professionals are recognized as leaders in the structural engineering realm. From involvement in professional organizations to university advisory boards, we have dedicated our efforts to moving the structural engineering industry forward.
WHAT WE DO
Problems with buildings, bridges, and infrastructure come from any number of sources: design, fabrication, construction, or even simply unrealistic expectations. Pivot takes a thorough approach to investigating potential problem sources, assesses the probable cause(s), and designs or makes recommendations for repairs and strengthening. View our services »
