Engineering Intern

Job Summary:  Engineering Interns learn about structural forensics, nondestructive testing, strengthening, repair design, and litigation support from industry-leading experts at Pivot. Day-to-day tasks include document review, field investigations, structural analysis, technical writing, and more.

Location and Hours: Engineering Interns work in-person at our office in Austin, TX. Engineering Interns may be asked to travel occasionally to project sites for field work, but this travel will not conflict with academic classes or other commitments. This is a part-time or full-time position, working up to 40 hours per week with flexible hours.

Required Qualifications: This position is for structural engineering students currently enrolled in a graduate degree program or undergraduate students who are planning to enroll in a graduate degree program within the next academic year. Candidates must demonstrate legal status to work part-time outside of the University.

Salary and Benefits: Engineering Interns are paid an hourly rate depending on qualifications. The position does not include benefits.
